Casting: Louhi

Have you been always passionate about theatre? Or maybe you are just discovering your interests? We welcome all backgrounds.

Louhi is a two-act play rooted in the mythology of Pohjola, following the rise and fall of its Witch-Queen, and it is the 2026 summer production of OYT.

The shows will be held from June onwards, and the practice season is between March until June. We are looking for actors, actresses, and also technical crew. We need costume designers, make up and hair stylists, video and visual designers, sound and light technicians, prop designers, a producer and director's assistant.

No Finnish speaking skills are needed at all, since the whole play is in English. But your English does not have to be perfect either. If you are over 18 years old, you can sign up for the casting.

The casting will be held on Sunday 1 March 2026 at Valvenäyttämö stage, Cultural Centre Valve. For actors it is from 10AM until 3PM. For offstage crew, it is from 6PM until 8 PM.
